Wenn Du Gehst

Klammer mich an alte Zeiten.
Die Schatten an der Wand,
mit dem Licht verblassen sie.
Könn der Wahrheit nicht entfliehen

I’m getting nostalgic listening to German songs from our Germany-Austria trip.

The management exam was doable, but 2.5 hours turned out to be very limited for 130 MCQs and two short-answer questions, especially considering a lot of the MCQs towards the end were calculations.

I’m so glad I stayed up skimming through the chapters of the textbook that I hadn’t looked at previously. If I didn’t, I would have been totally pwned. Even so, because I didn’t read through them carefully, I had to spend a lot of time during the exam learning. Thank God for B’s glossary.

Because it was open-book I was tempted to check every answer to make sure they’re correct, and this I did until I was up to the 80th question and realised there was only one hour left. I rushed through the rest of the MCQs, which was difficult considering that those were from sections of the text I was least familiar with.

Fortunately there weren’t any questions I couldn’t answer or at least narrow down to two choices, except for one calculation question I thought I’d go back to but didn’t.

Short-answer questions would have been easy if not for the fact that most people had less than 30 minutes left to complete them. I managed to squish in a rushed summary before time was up but it probably looked out of place but who cares.

C and I went to Burwood this afternoon for some errands and while he was booking his driving test I went to CBA to apply for an overdraft for the next month when I have no income. The customer service specialist decided that it was a bad idea and applied for a credit card for me instead. I thought that was an even worse idea.
